Bulk Bag Discharger (BBD). The bulk bag is easily controlled by means of a conveyor directly coupled to the base of the discharger. This type of conveyor can be used to accurately meter bulk bag contents to your process vessel in an enclosed and controlled manner. A number of products handled in bulk bags are of a fine, powdery and invasive nature and total containment during unloading is necessary to prevent contamination of the local atmosphere and health and where the product is volatile, toxic or presents an explosion risk. The worldwide acceptance of bulkbags has brought big changes to bulk materials handling, not least in the pharmaceutical industry where they are replacing the use of rigid IBC’s. It is suitable for all types of bulk bags having different sizes up to 2 meters high & 2 tonnes in weight. Eight models are available to provide discharge – by volume, by weight, single trip bag (knife model), low loader, hoist model, multi discharger, total containment and optional equipment. This enables highly accurable weighting of product as it is discharged from the bag. Single strip bulk bags are widely used within plant environment for low value or hazardous products and therefore require a dust free and controllable emptying method. It is provided with sealing device for bottom spout, automatic spout stretching, static rounding system with FIBC resistance monitoring etc. Some optional equipments are bag massagers to aid flow, liner remover, mobile frame, sack tip door, hygienic liner clamp. Its main features are full dust control, no wastage or spillage, automatic transfer of conveyor, quiet operation without vibrators, assurance of complete product discharge etc. The advantages of holding solids and ingredients in bulk bags are reduced labour, increased safety, clean work environment, increase productivity, better dust control and online continuous operation.
